Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the heart of Canazei, Hotel Rubino offers an intriguing blend of traditional charm and modern convenience. During my stay, I found exceptional value for money, especially given its prime location near the town centre, which allows for easy exploration of local culture and dining. The hotel's facilities, albeit somewhat dated, exude a classic allure that some guests may find appealing. My large, clean room provided all necessary comforts, including a flat-screen TV and complimentary wi-fi. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, featuring a variety of fresh options that fueled my days of adventure. While I initially experienced confusion during check-in when directed to a neighbouring hotel, it inadvertently highlighted the less desirable aspects of this sister hotel. The comparison served as a stark reminder of what the Rubino has to offer. With private parking and pet-friendly policies, as well as attentive staff willing to assist with tours and ticket arrangements, the hotel manages to maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Ultimately, Hotel Rubino strikes a balance between cost and luxury, making it a wise choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking to indulge in the region's rich ambiance and beer culture.
